São Paulo Tours / Hotels - With more than 600 hotels and about 60.000 rooms, accomodation is not a problem in São Paulo. The question is less, if there is a hotel, but for which price and, above all, where.

Due to the complicated traffic conditions, you should stay either in a hotel close to the sights you pretend to visit or at least have a subway station close.

If you like to jog outdoors and don´t want to depend on fitness centers, probably a hotel close to the Ibirapuera park might be a good choice. If shopping and elegant restaurants have priority, Jardins and Avenida Paulista are the right places to stay. Most bars are located in Vila Madalena and Praça da República is a good location for visiting the historical center.

There are also some good hotels close to the airport, if you don´t want to stay directly in São Paulo.

In the budget - category, Ibis and Formula 1 at (nearby) avenida paulista are excellent choices. As the price for the Formule 1 doesn´t include breafast, you have the opportunity to know some of the typical bakeries (padarías) and snack bars (lanchonetes) in the proximity of the hotel. Avenida Paulista is located pretty central, with various subway stations and you can reach the art museum MASP on foot.
