The Islands of Tinharé & Boipeba Environmental Protection Area (APA) is a Sustainable Use Conservation Unit of the Mata Atlântica Biosphere Reserve in the south of the state of Bahia. Tinharé & Boipeba are located about 280 km southwest of Salvador on the so-called Dende coast. The islands are separated from each other by the "Inferno" - river.

The conservation unit protects several estuarine ecosystems of the Atlantic Rainforest / (Mata Atlântica) biome such as mangroves, restinga or tropical rainforest. Many hiking and mountain bike options (Moreré, São Sebastião (Cova da Onça), Guarapuá or Morro de São Paulo).
