Serra dos Órgãos   Serra dos Órgãos   Serra dos Órgãos
Serra dos Órgãos National Park is an Integral Protection Conservation Unit of the Mata Atlântica Biosphere Reserve in the state of Rio de Janeiro. The park is located 90 km from the capital and can be accessed through the historic cities of Petrópolis or Teresópolis (see satellite map).

It is considered Brazil's capital of mountain climbing due to the presence of such magnificent rock formations as "dedo de deus" or "pedra de sino", with 2.263 m the highest peak of the park. Aside from its natural beauty and its fantastic landscape Serra dos Órgãos provides excellent hiking opportunities such as the traditional 43 km "travessía" from Petrópolis to Teresópolis.
