Serra da Prata is one of the massifs that constitute the Paranaguá batholith, an enormous granitic rock
that intruded the coastal (costeiero) terrane of the
southern
Ribeira Belt
at the end of the
Brasiliano / Pan - African cycle
(see
geology).
The main
ecotouristic
attractions of the park are the hiking trails that lead to the summit of Torre da Prata, with 1.502 meters the highest point
of the mountain range such as the
Limeira mountain bike trail.
