Serra da Prata is one of the massifs that constitute the Paranaguá batholith, an enormous granitic rock
that intruded the
costeiro terrain in the
southern
Ribeira Belt
at the end of the
Brasiliano - Pan African
orogenic cycle.
The main
ecotouristic
attractions of the park are the hiking trails that lead to the summit of
Torre da Prata, with 1.502 meters the highest point
of the park such as the
Limeira mountain bike trail.
