The climate of
Brazil in the
Atlantic Rainforest area
is influenced by tropical and subtropical air masses.
Proximity to the ocean, regional atmospheric dynamics,
and the shape of the relief are the main factors which contribute in turning the
local climate predominantly warm and humid, characterized by high temperatures,
mist in the upper part of the mountains and increased humidity.
Distribution of rainfall in this part of Brazil is quite irregular, but generally speaking
the coldest and driest period is from April to September (winter) and the hottest and
rainiest period from October to march (summer).
For the medium monthly temperatures and precipitations in different Brazilian locations
