Ecosystems

We conduct guided ecological hiking / trekking & mountain bike tours through the following ecosystems of the Atlantic Rainforest biome in south and southeast Brazil (classification according to IBGE):


• Pioneer Formations / (Formações Pioneiras)

• Tropical Rainforest / (Floresta Ombrófila)

• Seasonal Rainforest / (Floresta Estacional)

• Altitude Fields / (Campos de Altitude)


Based on altimetric and pedalogical (soil studies) research, some of these ecosystems can be divided into finer subunits, so - called altitudinal zones.
