Peabiru is the name given to a
historic
indigenous precabralian
trail, with an extension of more than 1.000 kilometers, from the Brazilian coast (with access trails from
Santa Catarina,
Cananéia and
São Vicente) to the Paraná river.
From there, the trail continued to Paraguay, the Bolivian highland, Peru and finally to the Pacific.
