São Paulo – Rio de Janeiro

Eco Adventure Tours / Brazil - São Paulo – Rio de Janeiro is a medium to advanced level trekking tour through some protected areas, in the coastal area of the states of São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. It combines a series of day hikes along selected submontane and montane tropical rainforest trails, in the Serra do Mar and associated peninsulas and offshore islands.

Each tour member carries his own small to medium size backpack. Accomodation is in private guest houses or houses of the local communities. No camping equipment is needed. A good to very good physical condition is requested, in order to complete average daily walking times of 3 – 6 hours and height differences of up to 1.000 m under tropical climate conditions.
