São Paulo - Rio de Janeiro I is a medium to advanced level mountain bike tour through the coastal Serra do Mar coastal mountain chain in the states of São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro (see route).

It is situated between sea level and 1.000 height meters, covering the lowland, submontane and montane altitudinal zones of the conservation units Serra do Mar and Serra da Bocaina. There is also the option to combine this tour with a visit to Ilhabela and / or Ilha Grande.
