Brazil Social / Cultural Tours - Carijó was an indigenous tribe of the Tupi - Guarani family (about 100.000 people) which at the beginning of the colonial time occupated Brazil's south coast.

The Carijó were the main target of Bandeirantes expeditions and Jesuit cataquese.
